Air Abraision is a "no drilling" alternative for new fillings! Instead of a high speed drill, we use the air abrasion machine. No needles needed! The machine uses a fine aluminum oxide powder to "cut away" tooth structure. Once prepared the tooth can be filled with white or silver filling. (This is not to be used if your tooth has a large hole or very deep decay, since the air of the machine will make the already sensitive tooth hurt.)
